Why food is so important in the Basque Country? Part 4

And today in our last post I want to speak about another very important part of the food business in the Basque Country:

- Basque locals.
This is something I mention to my guests for their surprise. 
We really love drinking and eating out. Restaurants know it and they have to maintain their high quality standards because there is a big group of locals (me also ;- ) ) who love to taste new things. And good new things.

All these reasons have lead us to be world famous for food. 

From our pintxos (small food delicacies), for having the biggest no. of Michelin stars per inhabitant in the world or for having the first university of gastronomy, the Basque Culinary Center.
