Wine Spectator 2013 Top 10
After 25 years of the Wine Spectator this is the first time that a Spanish wine is in the top of the list and I wanted to make this post to honour to the people who have worked on achieving that position.
According to Thomas Matthews CVNE Gran Reserva 2004 combines well tradition and modernity. An equilibrium sought by nowadays gourmets as he explained in an interview in CNBC.
Further to the #1, we have also some other great Rioja wines in this list:
On 22nd place another Rioja Alta wine: Viña Ardanza Reserva 2004. It seems that Wine Spectator likes 2004 wines of Rioja.
On 29th the third Rioja Alta wine. R. López de Heredia Viña Tondonia Rioja White Viña Gravonia Crianza 2003
