This city has one of the most beautiful Gothic Cathedral's in Spain. Started back in 1221 following the French Gothic style that was arriving to Spain by the pilgrims of St James Way (or Camino de Santiago).
Still nowadays it is a must do stop of the main St James Way and also on your way from Madrid to the Basque Country or Rioja.
But not only the Cathedral, all the city center is really charming and it is an easy day tour to be made from Bilbao, Rioja or Vitoria.
