The Sea Palace (Palacio del Mar) or Aquarium of San Sebastian is one of the most modern in Europe. The building is made on the rock beside the historical port of San Sebastian and at a stonethrow from the old quarter of San Sebastian.
It has over 5000 sea species of different aquatic environments.
The gem of the museum is the underwater tunnel and the "tactile" aquarium where you can touch some of the fishes with your hands. That is so fun for kids!
And it is open on Mondays!
