A Marques de Riscal winery Well, this is the first surprise for many of my guests. Yes, this is the oldest winery of Rioja. How can this be seeing the picture attached? Well, the thing is that the beautiful building by Frank Gehry is really the hotel next to their ancient winery. Dating back to 1858.
B Lopez de Heredia Tondonia Our tour takes now to the oldest winery now in the city of Haro, which uses a design by the Iraqui architect Zaha Hadid to cover an ancient showroom dated to the start of the 20th Century. Other parts of their winery are also remarkable like the cellars, and of course, do not leave without tasting their wines with special mention to their aged white wine.

C Wineries in Haro and Laguardia Haro with its history joined with the train and some of the oldest wineries and Laguardia village, a village who wisely uses his medieval tunnels to store wine are other places which really old wineries. If you are lucky and organize it well, you can visit some of the oldest wineries in this charming towns. Going down to these cellars is like a travel on time (not suitable for people with problems on mobility)
