Traditionally the most well known wines from the north of Spain, appart from those in Galicia and Catalonia, has been red wines.
But this has been changing over the last years. Now the situation is changing.
First the studies of the aroma and flavours conducted on Txakoli, the coastal slightly sparkling wine, that increased the number of people interested on this kind of wine.
Afterwards, the highlight of the Rioja white wines, which have achieved a very nice quality in many wineries.
And as a result of this evolution and to show it to the public, this weekend there will be in Vitoria the first white wine exhibition.
Wine that will be not served alone, but with freshly cooked tuna.
