  • In Mungia. Peasant Market. Exhibition and sale of farm products. Every Friday.
  • In Bilbao. Gure Lurreko Merkatuak. Market of products of the hamlets of Bizkaia, made in a traditional way by their farmers, with Basque varieties and native breeds. Slow food, natural and local foods. Tinglados del Arenal. Every Saturday.
  • In Tolosa. Agricultural Fair. Farm products fair. Every Saturday.
  • In Irun. Agricultural Fair. Vegetable Fair. Every Saturday.
  • In Bilbao. Flower and plant market. Flowers and plants grown and collected directly by local producers. A melting pot of colors and smells. Tinglados del Arenal. Every Sunday.
  • In Astigarraga. Season of the Basque Cider. The main area in the Basque Country is in Astigarraga (near San Sebastián). There are some 51 Basque cider houses in Guipúzcoa, 10 in Vizcaya and 2 in Alava. The cider season begins on January 15 and runs until the end of May.
  • In Sopuerta, Biscay. XLVIII Pork sausage and black pudding contest. Exhibition and sale of other agricultural, livestock and handicraft products. March 1st.
  • In Javier (Navarre). “Javierada”. Pilgrimage to the Castle of San Javier. Old Navarra Tradition dating back to nineteenth century. From March 4th until 16th. First Javierada: March 8th. Second Javierada: March 14th.
  • In Bilbao. Agricultural Fair. Sale and exhibition of farm products in La Ribera Street. March 14th.
  • In Zegama. Beekeeper's Day. XXII Contest of honey from the province of Gipuzkoa. March 15th.
  • In Bakio. St. Joseph Festival. The wineries of Bakio present the txakoli elaborated with the harvest obtained the previous year. March 19th.
  • In Moreda de Alava. IX Olive Oil Fair of Alava. Great opportunity to get to know the world of olive trees and olive oil in the area. Agricultural and food fair. March 22nd.
  • In Okondo. Fair of the Basque house. Our best products, such as legumes, vegetables, vegetables, sausages and pork products, honey, preserves, pâté, wine, cider, bread, sweets and cheese, hand in hand with producers in the area.   • In Durango. Durango Ardo Saltsan: Wine and Delicatessen Fair. Eno-gastronomic fair with dozens of wineries from different countries. Posts with delicatessen products, defined by their high quality with Iberian ham, oil, salmon and smoked bonito, Iberian tomato, cheese, anchovies, and coffee. March 28th

  • In Bilbao. Exhibition: ABC. The alphabet of the Bilbao Museum. With this expo the 110th birthday of the museum is celebrated. Bilbao Fine Arts Museum. From October 6th, 2018 until December 30th, 2020.
  • In Bilbao. J. S. Elkano. Behind the footprint. He delves into the biography of Juan Sebastian Elkano (1487 / 88-1526), and allows him to follow his vital mark, before, during and after the first circumnavigation of the Earth. Maritime Museum. From June 26th, 2019 until June 26th, 2020.
  • In Bilbao. Egypt in Bilbao. Replicas by hand of several of the most notorious monuments of Egypt, along with other sculptures, sarcophagi and objects of ancient Egypt. Deusto Expo Center. From July 27th, 2019 until April 30th, 2020.
  • In Vitoria-Gasteiz. Elena Mendizabal: Sculpture. It also shows a series of photographs, drawings or collages, of which the exhibition incorporates significant pieces. Artium Museum. From November 8th, 2019 until May 3rd, 2020.
  • In Bilbao. Small-Format Sorolla. Bilbao Fine Arts Museum. From November 20th, 2019 until February 23rd.
  • In Hernani. Eduardo Chillida: Seeking the light expo. From a trip that the sculptor made in 1963 through Greece, Italy and French Provence in which he discovers new concepts around light and architecture. Squeak Leku. From December 6th, 2019 until June 1st 2020.
  • In Bilbao. Olafur Eliasson: In real life. Danish-Icelandic artist Olafur Eliasson places the viewer's experience at the core of his art. Guggenheim Museum. From February 14th until June 21st.
  • In Bilbao. Zinegoak: XVII Bilbao’s International GayLesboTrans Film and Performing Arts Festival. Bilborock Hall, BilbaoArte and The Golem Cinemas. From February 24th until March 8th.

  • In Getaria. Fashion and Heritage: Cristóbal. It puts the focus on Cristóbal Balenciaga himself and the imprint he has left behind as a person through various objects that belonged to him and that have been collected in the Museum's collections.   • In Bilbao. Marie Chouinard Company: Radical Vitality. Little jewels of the dance of solos and duets. Arriaga Theater. March 6th and 7th.
  • In Bilbao. Musika-Música: International Festival of Classical Music. The outstanding feature of this Festival is its themed nature, as every year the performances focus on a specific period, style or composer. This year 2020 the axis will be "Paris". Euskalduna Palace. From March 6th until 8th
  • In Bilbao. Gustoko. III Artisan and Quality Food Fair. The exhibitors will show and sell their products, in addition to being able to participate in different activities such as training and information days, tastings, showcooking and tastings taught by international professionals.   • In Bilbao. Lygia Clark. Painting as an experimental field, 1948-1958. Figure of the Brazilian avant-garde, whose innovative work covers more than three decades of painting, sculpture, films, drawings, prints, participatory actions and therapeutic art.   • In Bilbao. Unpacking. XLV Fair of pieces with a minimum age of 40 years. Bilbao Exhibition Centre. March 7th and 8th.
  • In Bilbao. Old haremills of Les Luthiers. Tour Bilbao, Vitoria-Gasteiz and San Sebastián. It is a compilation of some of the most celebrated Les Luthiers sketches. March 7 and 8 - Kursaal Auditorium of San Sebastián; March 16, 17 and 18 - Euskalduna Palace in Bilbao, and March 20 and 21 - Teatro Principal of Vitoria-Gasteiz. From March 7th to 21st.
  • In Tolosa and Ordizia. Ahoz aho - International Festival of Orality. 22 guests from different countries. Literary stories, scenic games, oral tradition narratives, music poems and many more performances always with the story as a common element among all of them. From March 7th to 28th.
  • In Biarritz. Anne Etchegoyen and the Basque Voices Choir: Emazte (Women). She will be accompanied by her flamenco guitarist maestro Antonio Jimenez, her folk and classical guitarist Jérôme Levatois, as well as the new Basque Voice Choir composed of young professional choristers from the South Basque Country. Casino Theater. March 8th.
  • In San Sebastian. DFERIA. Festival of the performing arts. Theater Fair of San Sebastian. The main objective of the Fair is the performing arts market, interrelating its agents and presenting the latest Basque and international creations. Places: Victoria Eugenia Theater, Principal Theater and other stages. From March 9th until 12th.
  • In Bilbao. The Bodyguard Musical. Campos Theater. From March 12th to April 6th.
  • In Biarritz. The Spring version of the Motorhome Fair. A surface of more than 5,000 m², entirely outside, to present more than 100 motorhomes, new and used, revised and guaranteed for all budgets. Halle d'Iraty. From March 12th until 15th.

  • In Getxo. XIV Punta Galea Challenge is one of 7 that form part of the prestigious Big Wave Tour, and the only one held in Europe. One day between November 1st, 2019 until and March 31, 2020.
  • In Bayonne. French Open 2020 in Figure Skating on Rollers. Lauga room. February 29th and March 1st.
  • In San Sebastian. Lilaton. Popular race for women only, 5km. This year is a 31st anniversary. Its purpose is to vindicate the visibility of women's sport. March 1st.
  • In Biarritz. Basque ball in Cesta Punta. France championship. Biarritz Jaï Alaï. March 5th, 12th,19th and 26th.
  • In Bilbao. Bilbao cicloturista. International bicycle tour of Bilbao with a distance of 115 kilometers. With 5 staggered departures every 15 minutes and is suitable for all cyclists. The exit is from the Bridge of Deusto and the arrival will be in the Gran Vía Bilbao. March 15th.
  • In San Sebastian. Spring Race. Coinciding with the beginning of spring, the Donostiarrak Sports Club, and the University of the Basque Country, organize this 10,000-meter race. March 15th.

  • In Azkoitia and Azpeitia. Half marathon. Diego Garcia Memorial. It is one of the most important sporting events in Gipuzkoa. This is an open test, with the only requirement of having completed 14 years. Each year more than 1,000 runners participate. March 28th.
