  • In Biarritz. The casetas. It stands out as the festive event of the opening of the summer season. Côte des Basques. From June 26th to July 1st.
  • In Bezama, Elgeta, Irun and Zumaia. Craft, livestock and agricultural fairs. July 1st.
  • In Pamplona. San Fermin with the Running of the Bulls every morning. The famous festival that Hemingway loved. From July, 6th until 14th.
  • In Salinas de Añana. Fair of the Salt. Light and sound show in the Valle Salado de Añana. Craft Fair of the Salt: exhibition & sale of agricultural products, craftsmen, representative products of the salt and visit to the salty valley. San Cristóbal Day. July 7th.
  • In Guernica- Lumo. Tasting and tasting peppers of Guernica. Horticultural fair. Exhibition and sale of Basque crafts. July 7th.
  • In Bilbao. Dancing bells. Popular Basque folklore. Arriaga Place. July 8th, 14th, 21st and 28th.
  • In Isaba, in the Basque Country Pyrenees, 3 Cow Tribute Festival, this millenarian tribute is observed amongst two villages of the French & Spanish Basque Country. The oldest agreement in force in Europe. This act possibly occurs from 125 BC, more than 2,100 years ago! On July, 13rd.
  • In Orio. Sea Bream festival. July 15th.
  • In Labastida. Medieval Market. July 14th & 15th.
  • In Biscay (plenty towns). Festivals of Carmen. Party atmosphere and cellebrations in: Balmaseda and Mungia. July, 15th.
  • In Errenteria, Artziniega, Ayala & Bernedo. Magdalene Festivals. July, 22nd.
  • In Bermeo, Elantxobe and Mundaka. St. Mary Magdalene Day. On this day, theses three coastal villages celebrate an ancient dispute as to the ownership of Izaro Island. Clothing: typical fishermen's blue canvas smocks and checked scarves. July 22nd.
  • In Portugalete. International Folklore Festival. Dance companies from different countries eat together to share experiences and traditional dances. From July 22nd until 31st. 
  • In Vitoria-Gasteiz. Garlic Fair within Blouse Day and Neska: exposition and sale of garlic on the slope of San Francisco and its surroundings. July, 25th.
  • In Vitoria-Gasteiz. Blusa Day. Donkey run, and parade of boys and girls dressed up with Basque local dressings and bull fighting. July, 25th.
  • In Vitoria-Gasteiz. Exhibition and sale of local agricultural products. Exhibition of livestock and machinery. July, 25th.
  • In Baiona. Festivals of Bayonne. Basque French version of the San Fermin Festivals, with bullfighting, running of the bulls and much more. From July, 25th to 29th.
  • In Astigarraga. Cider Day. Try local cider and enjoy local craftsman and Basque traditional sports in this town near San Sebastian. July, 26th.
  • In Pasaia. San Pantaleón Day. Sardine Festival. July 27th.
  • In Mundaka. "The Basque Music & Cook Festival". Festival that combines the best of the musical scene & the national & international gastronomy in a unique environment. Santa Catalina church. From July 27th until 29th.
  • In Bayonne. Season 2018 run. Bullfights of Bayonne. Bullring. July 29th.
  • In Azpeitia, Biscay & Gipuzkoa. St Ignatius Loiola. In Azpeitia local music, food, drink and festivals, July 30th to August 2nd.

In Getxo, International Jazz Festival, from July 4th until 8th

  • In Bilbao. "110 Years, 110 Works". Exhibition for the 110th anniversary of the museum. Fine Arts Museum of Bilbao. From May 9th until October 17th.
  • In Bilbao. Exhibition of the Basque artist Jorge Oteiza. 14 sculptures made between 1951 & 1992. Gallery Michel Mejuto. From May 24th until July 27th.
  • In San Sebastian. Summer courses at the University of the Basque Country. Miramar Palace. Quality and varied program of courses, seminars, workshops and conferences. From June 15th until September 15th.
  • In Bayonne. Exhibition a path of St. Jacques: the French Basque coastline. The media library evokes the stages from Bayonne to Irun. From June 25th until September 15th.
  • In Bayonne. Exhibition: Hiding in the city, Liu Bolin. DIDAM. From June 29th until September 16th.
  • In Bilbao. Expo Joana Vasconcelos: I'm your mirror. One of the most outstanding artists of the last decade. Guggenheim Museum. From June 29th to November 11th.
  • In Bayonne. Exhibition: 1966, Basque art under the Franco regime: vanguard and resistance. Basque Museum. From June 30th until to November 4th.
  • In Getaria. "Balenciaga. Fashion and Heritage". Exhibition that shows the evolution of the work of the couturier in its successive stages and aspires to become a reference sample to understand and know in depth the legacy generated by Balenciaga: where he comes from, what he contributes in his time, and what he transmits to us today. Cristóbal Balenciaga Museum. Until January 29th 2019.
  • In Saint Jean de Luz. Musical entertainment with the Euskal Brass Band. Place Louis XIV. 11.30 am July 1st.
  • In Bilbao. The Beatle Ringo Starr will perform for the first time in the Basque Country in front of his spectacular All Starr Band. Bizkaia Arena - BEC. July 1st.
  • In Vitoria-Gasteiz. Dibertikale: street animations. Cycle of street shows for children in squares, streets and parks near civic centers. From July 1st until 15th.

  • In Saint Jean de Luz. Basque Ball in Chistera Joko Garbi. Municipal Fronton. July 11st, 18th and 25th.
  • In Beasain. The mountain race "Ehunmilak". It will cross the Gipuzkoan counties of Goierri, Tolosaldea, Urola Kosta, Urola Garaia and Debagoiena, 168 kilometers. From July 13rd until 15th.
  • In Saint Jean de Luz. Crossing the bay to swim. Bay St. Jean de Luz / Ciboure. 9.30 am July 14th.
  • In San Sebastian. XIX Sailing regatta. Two crossings: 32 miles from Hendaye to San Sebastian; and the other inside the Bay of La Concha. July 14th and 15th.
