- In Zierbena. Seafood Fair. On September 30th and October 1st.
- In Gernika-Lumo. October trade shows. A multitude of fairs of various kinds fill the streets of the municipality of Vizcaya, the most important of which are those celebrated on the first Monday (2nd) and the last Monday (30th) of the month.
- In Agurain / Salvatierra. DCXXII Cattle Fair and X Horse Competition of the mountain of the Basque Country. XXXI Provincial Pastoral Cheese Contest. Exhibition of cattle, sheep, machinery, handicrafts, gastronomy and Basque products. October 3rd.
- In Pobes. XXIII Fair of the paste bean and vegetables of Alava. Tasting, exhibition and sale of various handicraft products. October 8th
- In Basauri and Durango. Festival Saint Faust. October 8th until 16th.

- In Getxo. Gextophoto. Festival of photography that bets on the use of formats, supports and unconventional spaces to show the images. From September 1st to October 1st.
- In Bilbao. Tricicle: HITS. Arriaga Theater. From September 13rd until October 1st.
- In Biarritz, Latinamerican cinema & Culture Festival of Biarritz. From September 25th until October 1st.
- In Bilbao, JA "La Risa de Bilbao” Festival. Sala BBK, Alhóndiga Bilbao, Mercado de la Ribera, Campos Elíseos Theatre. From September 27th until October 8th.
- In Bilbao. Anni Albers: Touch the view. Known especially for its pioneering role in textile art or fiber art, for its innovations in the treatment of the wefts and its permanent search for motifs and fabric functions. Guggenheim Museum. October 6th until January 14th.
- In San Sebastian. San Sebastián Gastronomika-Euskadi Basque Country. World congress of high gastronomy (bringing together the best chefs on the planet), Off (parallel congress dedicated to the world of the room and wine), Popular (aimed at citizens) and Market (a spectacular fair). A day dedicated to the world of wine. Kursaal Palace. October 8th until 11st.
- In Bilbao, Exhibit “Alicia Koplowitz Collection - Omega Capital Group”. First time in Spain with a wide selection of about 90 pieces. Fines Arts Museum. Until October 16th.
- In San Sebastian. Underwater cinema series. Free session on the depths of the sea. Main Theater (Main Street). October 16th to October 22nd
- In Bilbao, Exhibit “El Greco". Fines Arts Museum. Until October 17th.
- In Bilbao. BAD. Festival of Theater and Contemporary Dance of Bilbao. Dance shows, theater, music, performances, workshops, courses, conferences ... takes place in a multitude of spaces, such as the Bilborock and La Fundición halls, the La Merced school, the Fnac, the Champs Elysees theater, the BBK room Of Gran Via ... October 20th until 29th.
- In Bilbao, Exhibit “Georg Baselitz. Los Héroes". German art. Monumental figures painted, agitated and challenging, they have not lost an iota of their ambiguity, importance and vulnerability. Guggenheim Bilbao Museum. Until October 22nd.
- In Vitoria, Exhibit " The book cultural testimony”. A tour of the history of the book, from the clay tablets of ancient Mesopotamia to the current electronic devices.". Artium. Until October 26th.
- In Bilbao. BIME. Bizkaia International Music Experience is an international gathering of professionals from sectors that work around music. BEC Centre. October 27th and 28th.
- In San Sebastian. Fantastic and Terror Film Week. With parallel activities: exhibitions, cycles, children's activities … October 28th until November 3rd.
- In San Sebastian. Symphonic of Pink Floyd. A startling performance performed by a cast of extraordinary and powerful top-level voices, accompanied by the One World Symphony Orchestra and a powerful and select Rock Band made up of international musicians. Kursaal Palace. October 29th.
- In Bilbao, Exhibit “Bill Viola: Retropection". Pioneer in the use of the video and in the exploration of the moving image. Guggenheim Bilbao Museum. Until November 9th.
- In Getaria. Rachel L. Mellon Collection. Cristobal Balenciaga Museum. Until January 25th, 2018.

Regarding sport:
- In San Sebastian. Cross the three beaches. A 10-kilometer journey through the three beaches of San Sebastián with about 3,000 athletes. Real Club de Tenis Ondarreta (start and finish). October 8th
- In San Sebastian. XXI Classic popular pedestrian. For the center of the city the participants will complete a distance of 15 kilometers. October 15th
- In Bilbao. Bilbao Night Marathon. Three different tests: the marathon (42 kilometers), the half marathon (21 kilometers) and the popular race (7 kilometers) through the heart of the city. Departure and arrival: Guggenheim Museum. October 21st.
- In Biarritz. Basque pelota - World Cup of cesta punta. Will bring together the best players from around the world, will qualify for the world championships in Barcelona in 2018. The 5 best nations in Biarritz will compete for the title in Catalonia. October 23rd to 29th.
